Hi Sam! Could I have the link to the recording as well? I’m always looking for ways to tell more of a story with my drawings. I used to love finding my kids’ random Polaroids lying around because their line of sight was so much lower. I could see what they saw and what interested them. Both my kids took photography classes in high school and college, but they had already developed an eye. Thank you for sparking that memory for me!
I so wish I could have attended the meeting with you and Ruthie. I’ve always loved writing and I often stuff as much writing around my drawings as possible. I really love your written thoughts. The Lego one really choked me up, thinking about the hours of Lego fun I had with my own boys when they were small.
I don’t think I got the recording, because I knew I couldn’t attend the meeting and didn’t pre-register. That would be great if I could access the recording!
Your writing is so beautiful! I loved each piece. The Lego story brought me to your living room floor with your boys. The photograph and your ability to see through your son’s eyes and his creative spirit is priceless. The color purple I hadn’t associated with you and now I’ll remember from this entry. Beautiful.
Thanks, Eva. I stayed close to my scribbles, but cleaned it up a bit. If I can get closer to the more refined version in my sketch journal then I’ll be happy! I love what you shared as well. Everyone’s writing is so beautiful! It’s fun to see another form of creativity and thought from everyone.
Hey Sam…. I registered but missed the live gathering…. How do I get the link to the replay?
KD
hi I will send the link in a message!
I'd love to watch the recording; is that still possible?
never mind- i poked around and found it!
Thanks XO
I absolutely LOVE your sketches ! 💖
I love Lamy pens. Have 2. One purple fountain like yours and a pink ballpoint.
I use them for drawing and load them with different inks.
