Don’t fear the fifty - that’s 50 years of experiences and life. No need to comply with modern cultural norm of older women needing to become silent and fade away. You’ve got so much to share Samantha and have done so so much with those 50 years. Plus all the lives you have touched with your work, including mine. Thank you. And happy birthday x
I missed your classes but did watch your Skillshare class... love the practice of eclipses, I believe this really helps and do a very similar exercise when drawing my bowls.
The black and white image of your bank sketch is my favourite- I think it’s the deep contrasting values.
I thoughts I was already subscribed to you... but realized I wasn’t- when I get on my computer I’ll go into managing my subscription- really enjoy your writing (and of course your art) .
I'm surprised that I prefer the black and white version more than the sepia. I honestly thought I'd prefer that. Thanks for showing different possibilities!
Thank you for all of this!

Thank you! Yes somehow the black and white works so well.
Glad you like the Skillshare classes ❤️
Correction- ellipses... not eclipses. (I didn’t think autocorrect worked in Substack! )
Happy Birthday- another spin around the sun!!! Wheee!
Thank you!

Happy Birthday! So many good things to look forward to.
Middlebury College - my Mom's alma mater. She got a BA in Math there in 1949. Pretty good for a woman then. Beautiful campus.
such a beautiful campus and your mother sounds impressive!
Is there a date/time for the Stone Meetup yet?
