The building of a sketchbook spread and a few other announcements.
Sam, you outdid yourself in describing your process for these two sketchbook pages. I loved everything about this post and it made me want to run to my sketchbook and do something similar describing my days. Thank you as always.
I love the looseness of the landscapes you worked on at Storm King. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing my new wallpaper mural collection too!!
snake in the urban grasses - just for you ! 🦎🏴☠️
I love autumn and the colours you used, and was inspired to look back at some of my photos during autumn to see what colours I could create with my paints.
Unfortunately I won’t make your next meetup, but look forward to the recording.
Your sketchbook pages are very lovely. I really liked how you discussed the steps that you went through to finally decide on the content of the two different pages. It was nice to be able to follow the two different processes you used to complete each painting. Plus, it was interesting to see how you used different art tools to express the feeling that was expressed on each page. I liked that you talked and showed your color palette. I’ve been working ( and researching)on color theory a lot to make my drawings better.
Thank you for recording the last meetup. I love your spread of Storm King, which is a favorite place of mine. I look forward to the next meet up. You are always an inspiration!
