A foray into painted work and an ongoing project of mine that you might not be familiar with, plus some other announcements.
I love this more than worlds can say! I may do this with my kids for a school activity this month. Thank you for sharing, and I’m glad you came back to this project!
Hi, Samantha! You mentioned above that you might have some (ceramic?) leaves you painted that are for sale. How would I contact you about that?
Driving in our Jeep yesterday the tiniest little leaf made it’s way through the open top roof…it was small, and adorable, and a few days ago, i would have discarded it outside. but thanks to your post, this little leaf made quite the impression on me & i had to do a little doodle on it. Nothing fancy, but it did make my day & i thank you for inspiring me to look at leaves a little bit differently!! It’s going to be a fun autumn!!! Xoxo
Just lovely!! I love that this was a project that evolved for you...and your style is amazing! I can't wait to restack (hopefully i am doing this right...sooo new to substack!), but i want to share all interesting & creataive ideas with my readers! Can't wait to try this...but i need a few more leaves to fall first!! xoxo
This is beautiful. Not the plagarism bit. The art. It makes my heart happy.
You may already know, but if you click on the photo on the uncredited leaf tutorial page, that link takes you to a website where you are indeed credited for the photo by the original poster of the photo (Setaprint, https://www.setaprint.net/2019/01/painted-leaves/).
Gorgeous leaves and what a great project.
