In my book Draw Your World, there is a section titled “Past and Future.” While I am a big believer in living in and appreciating the present moment, we can’t ignore how our artwork and sketchbooks reflect on past moments and will speak to us tomorrow, next week, and in years to come. Any creative endeavor is a combination of past, present, and future.
